My Top 10 Instagram photos from 2012
2012 was a big year for me, I more-or-less integrated back into the society after my Round-The-World trip, I ran with the bulls in Pamplona and I finally signed up for Instagram. So instead of doing a normal post of what I’ve been up to in 2012, I thought I’d pick my top 10 photos from my Instagram feed from 2012.
And as a side note, I am completely aware that my posting schedule for December was dubious at best, as I did have a holiday of sorts, but fear not, for my normal posting schedule resumes again! And there are some awesome posts lined up!
Second photo on my list is St. Paul’s Cathedral in London with sort of HDR look of an old post card; I suppose this is the classic over processed quality you often see on Instagram – but hey, it’s only a mobile photo!
This one I took on a random walk on river Thames.
Example of how all photos shouldn’t be taken that seriously. A giant hand statue behind a glass wall creating a ghostly reflection.
I do admit, I do like the miniature view created by tilt-shifting, but unfortunately I can’t afford a real tilt-shift lens as they cost more than a ski holiday to the alps! So I have to make do with tilt-shift effects created artificially even on the iPhone.
I walk through the Greenwich foot tunnel quite often and well symmetry is always nice.
Reflections from spot lights on a random concert I happened to walk through in Covent Garden.
This has to be the most security conscious Christmas tree I’ve ever come across.
Modern art often offers interesting topics for photographing, and luckily you can actually take photos at Saatchi Gallery.
This sunset photo I took in Portugal actually was my most popular Instagram photo last year.

Gorgeous photos! The hand one is amazing.
Thanks
It was such a random shot, I’m glad how it turned out
Hi,
I just had a poem accepted about Pamplona’s running of the bulls, but the journal needs a photo of the event–I don’t have one. I found your photo on google and was wondering if you have a good photo of the ring, the mayhem, something. I can send you the poem if that helps. And you’d get a photo cred if the journal takes the photo.
Thanks,
Adam
