Watching the rain at Langkawi

Fishing boats by the black sand beach at Langkawi Apartment on the duty free paradise or Langkawi, where there are miles of perfect sand beaches and cheap drinks. What more could you ask? Well, some sun would be nice actually. Our Finnish delegation arrived to the Langkawi airport late at night. The delegation consisting of me, my parents, my sister, two other Finnish girls who had been studying in Kuala Lumpur and the boyfriend of one of the girls. We had rented an apartment from the town of Kuah where we then proceeded to set up our base of operations. This meant basically buying some food, and plenty of ridicilously cheap beer, and some even more cheaper vodka. Family Reunions and Fish Spas in Kuala Lumpur

Petronas Twin Towers are an icon of Kuala Lumpur Last time that I ran into my parents outside of Europe, was in Ecuador few years ago, as we all happened to be traveling on that side of the world at the same time. I met them for fifteen minutes outside a bus terminal. The exchange was pretty much as follows: “Hi, hows your trip been so far?” “Good. Yours?” “Yeah good. Sorry, I really have to catch my bus now.
