Posted by on July 12th, 2013 in Asia, Destinations, Feature, Philippines, Postcards | 6 comments

Islands and beaches of El Nido are about as close to a paradise you can find on this planet. Little havens of tranquility hidden between the towering rocks sheltering them from the wind. Crystal clear waters full of colourful fish and life. All you need is a cold beer or a coconut.

Hong Kong Never Sleeps – Postcard

Posted by on May 1st, 2013 in Asia, Feature, Hong Kong, Postcards | 17 comments

Hong Kong never sleeps, the neon lights shimmer thru the night as cars flow through the gaps left by the glowing sky scrapers. The roads, tunnels, bridges, even pedestrians move on multiple levels. There is too much going on to restrict the city to a single flat surface. The future is here, it’s Hong Kong.

Postcard – Temples of Tikal

Just lying on the beach, swimming, learning to surf, eating pescadillas and drinking cold...

Postcard – Rice Fields of Thailand

Posted by on November 2nd, 2012 in Asia, HDR, Postcards | 10 comments

When I was driving around Thailand on my motorbike, I saw a lot of rice fields. And I quite like rice fields. They just always seem so serene. Just views that make you want to go and sit down and just look at it. This photo I took on my road trip to Pai. When I saw this, I just knew I had to stop for a photo, which did happen quite a few times on that road trip if I’m honest. And this photo will also start a new series on my blog I’m calling Friday postcard! Which is pretty much what it  says on the tin. Something to hopefully cheer up your Friday and make your mind wander…   Which country has the most beautiful rice fields in your...
